The age of high definition downloads is upon us and recently there’s been a real push to include the DSD format in the club. Hardware makers are including DSD capabilities in their DACs and even optical players. It’s true that the pro-DSD camp has succeeded in bringing this virtually abandoned format back from the dead. But it makes no sense to me. I’ve been reading the white papers and looking over the brochures that tout the benefits of DSD 64\/128.<\/p>\n
